## Status and limits

ISO/IEC 27004 is guidance, not a certifiable requirement. The requirement is ISO/IEC 27001:2022, clause 9.1. The DIS text is not public and is not quoted. The planning date of 14 September 2027 is an estimate, not an ISO date. Not legal advice; does not certify.
